🌟 Starlight Circle

  • Where: Santee, on East + West Glendon circles, off Magnolia Avenue
  • What to know: This massive display in San Diego’s East County spans dozens of homes and many of the decorations follow themes like “Sesame Street,” “Avengers,” “Star Wars” + Disney movies. You can walk through the neighborhood with a stroller or wagon and even buy homemade kettle corn, cookies or hot cocoa from residents. You can also slowly drive through and enjoy the lights from your car. Pro Tip: the Starlight Circle Facebook page shares updates throughout the season.

🌟 Christmas Card Lane

  • Where: Rancho Peñasquitos, on Ellingham, Oviedo + Renato streets, off Black Mountain Road
  • What to know: This RPQ neighborhood is famous for its detailed displays, which can also be enjoyed on foot or by car. Pro Tip: get seasonal updates via Instagram.

🌟 Christmas Circle

  • Where: Chula Vista, on Whitney and Manakato streets, between First and Second avenues, south of H Street
  • What to know: This neighborhood in San Diego’s South Bay has been decking its streets for more than 6 decades.

🌟 Christmas on Knob Hill

  • Where: San Marcos, 1639 Knob Hill Rd.
  • What to know: 85,000 lights (take notes, Clark) light up this display, which has been part of this North County neighborhood since 1988.
