A giant collection of his work is displayed in the Geisel Library at UCSD. If you’d like to have some of his famous artwork hanging in your home, there are pieces for sale at the Legends Gallery in La Jolla.

Yokohama Friendship Bell | To help establish a relationship with San Diego, the residents of Yokohama, Japan gifted the large bronze bell in May 1958. This marked the beginning of an official bond of the two as sister cities. Yokohama is one of more than a dozen of San Diego’s sister cities.

These extraordinary gifts not only add character and value to our city but also show how generosity can have a lasting impact.
