San Diego stands with Los Angeles. If you’re looking for ways to help victims impacted by LA County’s recent devastating wildfires, we’ve gathered a few resources.

Feeding San Diego

The local hunger relief organization is collecting essential supplies to take to the LA Regional Food Bank in the coming weeks. The most-needed items include bottled water, packaged + shelf-stable snacks, and non-perishable meals. You can drop off donations at Feeding San Diego’s office — 8477 Waples St., Ste. 100 — Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

The American Red Cross

The organization is aiding wildfire victims with emergency shelters, meals, and medical care. The Red Cross is accepting donations online or by calling (800) RED-CROSS.

The Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation

The LA-based organization — which supports 3,500 firefighters + paramedics — is seeking donations to support LAFD members battling wildfires with tools and supplies. Donate online.

San Diego Humane Society

Amid the LA wildfires, the San Diego Humane Society brought 40 adoptable pets to SD from the Pasadena Humane Society. You can foster or adopt a pet to help, or donate to the San Diego Humane Society or Pasadena Humane Society.

California Fire Foundation

This organization works with local fire agencies and community organizations to directly support victims of wildfires and disasters in California. Donate online.

The Salvation Army

The nonprofit is accepting donations to help provide shelter, food, and disaster relief directly to the victims of the wildfires.

United Way of Greater Los Angeles

Donations to this organization’s Wildfire Response Fund will support LA residents and long-term recovery efforts.

ICA San Diego/North

The museum’s Encinitas campus has been serving as a drop-off center for donations, collecting toiletries, water, non-perishable food, unopened first aid supplies, masks, batteries, and new socks + underwear. ICA said it will deliver items to organizations in Los Angeles.

The San Diego Tourism Authority said dozens of local hotels are offering special accommodation rates for those impacted by the LA wildfires. This includes Town and Country Resort, Bahia Resort Hotel, Catamaran Resort Hotel & Spa, and The Lakehouse Resort in San Marcos. Share this list with your LA friends. Several Gaslamp Quarter hotels are offering discounted rates for fire victims, too.
