Tails are wagging in Allied Gardens. The Allied Gardens Off-Leash Dog Park is now open, a heavily anticipated addition to the community years in the making.

The ~28,000-sqft park is larger than 68% of dog parks in the City of San Diego and includes amenities like:

  • Separate areas for small and large dogs
  • Logs that have been repurposed for agility training and seating
  • A dog-friendly water fountain
  • Dog bag receptacles and waste bins

The park is located directly next to the Allied Gardens Pool at 6707 Glenroy St. It is the first off-leash dog park in the Navajo community and the first city-operated dog park in District 7. The city has allocated $389,000 to building and maintaining the park in this year’s fiscal budget.
