San Diego International Airport — along with 85 other US airports — was recently awarded$24 million in federal grants under the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. The funding will be used to help SAN demolish Terminal 1 — contributing to the “New T1” project — and add energy efficient improvements + greater accessibility.
Traffic
The section of Poway Road extending from Espola Road to Highway 67 — known as The Poway Grade — will be closed for maintenance starting tomorrow, Nov. 1-Thurs., Nov. 3, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily. Traffic will be diverted to Scripps Poway Parkway. 🚧
Now through Thurs., Nov. 3, the I-805 Caltrans on and off ramps to North Park Way will be closed for signal improvements. Workers will be present from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m.

The County’s Health and Human Services Agency and San Diego State’s College of Health and Human Services have signed a formal agreement to launch of the Live Well Center for Innovation & Leadership.
