The results of our Mount Rushmore of San Diego celebrities poll are in, and our readers chose four familiar faces (out of eight choices) that came out on top: Dr. Seuss, Tony Hawk, Tony Gwynn, and Raquel Welch.

The No. 1 choice was clearly set in stone: No. 19 — “Mr. Padre” — scored 75% of votes. Theodor Seuss Geisel nabbed 62%, Hawk swooped in with 49%, and Welch with 18%.
