For the second summer, it’s going to be wheelie easy to get around Oceanside. The city’s gO’side electric shuttle is back, and starting today, it will be operating seven days a week.

During last year’s pilot program, the 5-passenger shuttles drove an average of 7,200 monthly passengers and saved an estimated 1,600 gallons of gas. The service can be used to get around parts of the city — mostly areas west of Interstate 5, but check the map before booking a trip.

You can request a ride using the Circuit app or by calling (760) 547-7870 — rides are $3 per rider with a $6 cap for groups larger than two. Ready to ride? Through November, the hours of operation are:

  • Monday-Wednesday: 12-10 p.m.
  • Thursday-Saturday: 10 a.m.-10 p.m.
