The San Diego County Fair returns today, but before you “get out there,” you need to actually get there. This year, the Fair Tripper deal is back to help locals coast to the event.

Your ticket includes entry to the fair plus round-trip rides on the MTS Trolley and Bus and the NCTD COASTER, SPRINTER, and BREEZE. A free shuttle will take you between the Solana Beach COASTER Station and the Del Mar Fairgrounds. Ticket prices vary, but the maximum cost is $20.

If you’re on board, here are some things to keep in mind:

  • Fair Tripper tickets are valid for rides for one day and must be purchased the day you plan to use them.
  • Tickets must be purchased on the PRONTO app or at a ticket vending machine.
  • Each person must have their own ticket.
  • All services, including the shuttle, are ADA accessible.
