Mayor Todd Gloria has issued a voluntary evacuation warning for residents in low-lying San Diego neighborhoods — the areas hit hardest by the devastating Jan. 22 flooding. Gloria said locals should gather important documents and make plans for at-risk family members and pets in case of flooding. (CBS 8)

Giddy up. Equestrian apparel company Ariat has opened a store at Las Americas Premium Outlets in San Ysidro — its first brick-and-mortar shop in San Diego County. Meanwhile, jewelry retailer Pandora will open a shop at the outlet mall later this month, joining the 150 brands on-site.

Something new is cookin’ in Del Mar: The Kitchen and The Clubhouse — two restaurants featuring cuisine by Executive Chef Ryan Bullock — set to debut late this month and in March, respectively.
The Kitchen — open Monday-Friday, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. — will focus on “midday bites” including pre-made bowls, salads, sandwiches, and wraps. There will be seating for up to 200 patrons across its indoor dining room, lounge, and patio.
The Clubhouse — with ocean views and seating for 236 — will offer SoCal-inspired breakfast items like the Think Tank Bowl with red potato hash and egg whites, plus lunch, happy hour (after-work drinks, perhaps?), and dinner. It’ll be open Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-7 p.m.
