- Father Joe’s Villages Thanksgiving Day 5K | 7:30 a.m. | The 22nd annual trek runs around Balboa Park.
- Encinitas Turkey Trot | 7:30 or 8 a.m. | This 5K or 10K run starts under the Encinitas sign.
- Coronado Turkey Trot | 8 a.m. | Celebrate at Tidelands Park with this 5K.
- O’Side Turkey Trot | 6:45 a.m. | Head to 330 N. Coast Highway for this 5K or 5-mile run.
- Fleet Feet Free Thanksgiving Day 5K Fun Run | 8 a.m. | Donate nonperishable food items to San Diego Food Bank at this Pacific Highland Ranch run.
- Fallbrook Turkey Trot | 7 a.m. | This 1-mile fun run goes down at La Paloma Elementary School.
- Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot | 9 a.m. | Run or walk 5K at 1750 San Pablo Dr. in San Marcos to benefit Discovery Elementary.
