Broadway San Diego announced the lineup for its 48th season kicking off Sept. 30 and wrapping up in August 2026. The season’s theme is “The Stories That Connect Us,” and the bill is packed with heartfelt musicals. Here’s what’s coming to the stage.
- “SUFFS” | Tuesday, Sept. 30-Sunday, Oct. 5 | This Tony Award-winning musical is about the brilliant, passionate women who fought for the right to vote in America.
- “& Juliet” | Tuesday, Oct. 14-Sunday, Oct. 19 | This hilarious musical flips the script on the classic love story by exploring what would happen next if Juliet hadn’t ended it all over Romeo.
- “The Notebook” | Tuesday, April 14, 2026-Sunday, April 19, 2026 | If you’re a bird, I’m a bird. Flock to this adaptation of the bestselling novel-turned-iconic film about the power of love.
- “The Sound of Music” | Tuesday, May 26, 2026-Sunday, May 31, 2026 | The hills are alive — if the Rodgers & Hammerstein classic is still one of your favorite things, you’ll want to catch this tour.
- “Disney’s Beauty and the Beast” | Tuesday, July 7, 2026-Sunday, July 12, 2026 | New sets, dazzling costumes, and the tale as old as time that you know and love.
- “Hell’s Kitchen” | Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2026-Sunday, Aug. 16, 2026 | This coming-of-age musical comes from Grammy Award-winning icon Alicia Keys and follows the story of a 17-year-old girl searching for her place in the world.
- “Water for Elephants” | Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2026-Sunday, Aug. 23, 2026 | The bestselling novel comes to life in this new, “spellbinding” musical.
