San Diego attractions serving chicken sandwiches

If you’re looking for a new chicken sandwich, it’s time to think inside the blocks. Castle Chicken is now at LEGOLAND California in Carlsbad. You’ll find the stand outside of “The Dragon” in case you’ve built an appetite on the roller coaster.

A little birdy told us these chicken sandwiches are only available on weekends, so get them while they’re hot. But, this isn’t the only place going loco for the pollo this year — other major attractions have been spicing up their menus with the entrée.

Last month, SeaWorld San Diego introduced The Chicken Snack Shack with a signature sandwich + a hotter, Nashville-inspired variation. Petco Park brought the heat this season with the introduction of San Diego’s Finest Hot Chicken where its “Hot Hen” sandwich definitely had us sweating.
THE WRAP

Today’s issue was written by Michael.

Editor’s pick: Happy Monday, San Diego. We hope you found a new book today, but I must admit, I don’t read books as often as I’d like. So, audiobooks are a great way to hear stories — and you can take a walk while listening. The thought of strolling along Sunset Cliffs or taking the Pedestrian Bridge Tour while listening to a book sounds like a perfect way to take in the city + get in some exercise.
