The Mission Trails Regional Park (MTRP) Foundation is hosting its 29th annual photo contest , open to adults, teenagers, and kids, through Wednesday, March 15.
Adults can submit one photo online in one of four categories — plants, animals, landscapes, or people — while teens and kids age 12 and under can submit one photo in an open category.
Per the rules , the contest is for amateur and non-professional photographers only, and all photos must be taken within an authorized MTRP trail . There’s no fee to enter.
Judges will score entries and select some to print and display at the MTRP Visitor Center Saturday, May 6-Friday, June 16. Visitors will be able to vote on their favorites for the People’s Choice award.
Prizes include $100 each for Best of Show and People’s Choice, and $50 for first place in each category.
