Hillcrest is getting ready to party — CityFest will return to the heart of the community on Sunday, Aug. 13, 12-11 p.m. This free, outdoor event takes over Fifth Avenue and spans nine blocks near the beloved Hillcrest sign , celebrating the local businesses and people who give this neighborhood its identity.

Want to join the fun? Here’s what you can expect at CityFest 2023:

  • 20+ hours of live entertainment on two stages on University and Robinson avenues including DJs, live bands, and dance parties
  • A Kids’ Pavilion with rides, drag storytime, and activities
  • Local vendors selling food, arts, crafts, and more
  • Beer gardens and cocktail bars; peep the drink list

Planning on attending? Parking is limited, but MTS bus and Trolley routes can get you there. Or, pedal to the fun — this year there will be a bike corral at Anderson Place between Fifth and Sixth avenues.
