March is Women’s History Month — a celebration of the vital role women have played in American history. In San Diego, we acknowledge this occasion with displays of art, activism, and remembrance.
Our city is home to the Women’s Museum of California, where women’s stories are collected, preserved, and retold. You can see this through its traveling exhibits + digital exhibits available for free online. In Spring 2022, WMC will be hosting walking tours of San Diego’s women’s history in Balboa Park.
