Where to watch FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 in San Diego

Many local pubs and restaurants will air the matches between now and mid-December.

NOVO’s Otay Ranch location features three 168-inch LED screens and one 264-inch LED TV.

FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 kicked off over the weekend and although the matches are a world away, there are plenty of ways to watch the action from San Diego. ⚽

We’ve rounded up some local pubs + restaurants that’ll air the matches over the coming weeks, so kick it here:

🍻 NOVO Brazil Brewing Company | Locations in Chula Vista, Otay Ranch + Imperial Beach
Taprooms will open early during the Team Mexico matches: 8 a.m. today and 11 a.m. on both Saturday, Nov. 26, and Wednesday, Nov. 30. From Round 16 on, all three locations will open early for every game — including matches at 7 a.m. That’s commitment.

Princess Pub SD

Score: World Cup matches will air at Princess Pub.

👑 Princess Pub | 1665 India St., Little Italy
Catch the games across one of the British pub’s 10 TVs — and text “World Cup” to 33777 to receive game day info.

🌴 Mavericks Beach Club | 860 Garnet Ave., Pacific Beach
This PB hotspot — home to 38 TVs — will host watch parties for all USA games. Brazil matches will air here, too: 11 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 24; 8 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 28; and 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 2.

🏆 barleymash | 600 Fifth Ave., Ste. 6916, Gaslamp Quarter
The downtown restaurant will open early at 10 a.m. to host watch parties for the USA games, including Friday, Nov. 25 + Tuesday, Nov. 29.

🍺 Rouleur Brewing Company | 2899 University Ave., North Park
The brewery will open early for matches on Friday, Nov. 25, and Tuesday, Nov. 29 — and 8 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 26.

💼 Working Class | 4095 30th St., North Park
This laid-back eatery opens at 9 a.m. daily and plans to show all of the World Cup matches.

🌊 The Shores Restaurant | 8110 Camino Del Oro, La Jolla
The oceanfront bar + patio — which features nine TVs — will open at 7 a.m. on match days, including the championship matches on Saturday, Dec. 17 + Sunday, Dec. 18.
