SD Del Mar Wine and Food Festival

Del Mar is about to be the talk of the culinary town this September.

A new local festival fueled by serious star power is launching soon: The Del Mar Wine + Food Festival (DMWFF), running Wednesday, Sept. 6-Monday, Sept. 11.

DMWFF is founded in partnership with San Diego Wave FC star Alex Morgan, NFL legend Drew Brees, and surfing icon Rob Machado. It’ll champion our region’s food scene with 20+ culinary experiences and top local chefs.

Highlights include:

  • The San Diego Wave FC Opening Night Celebration on Wednesday, Sept. 6, 6-9 p.m., at Monarch Ocean Club and the Del Mar Plaza.
  • The Dos Hombres Mezcal Dinner on Friday, Sept. 8, with “Breaking Bad” actors and business partners Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston.
  • The two-day Grand Tasting on Saturday, Sept. 9, and Sunday, Sept. 10, at Surf Sports Park featuring samples from celebrity chefs and 200+ wines, beers, and spirits.
