Something great and Greek has arrived in Kearny Mesa. The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill has opened the chain’s first location in San Diego.

A Greek/Armenian family founded the brand in Nevada in 2011, and began expanding in 2017. Recently, San Diego native Manish Sharma decided to open a location in the city to bring authentic Mediterranean flavors to locals.

What’s on the menu at this fast-casual eatery? It features dishes like gyros, chicken or steak souvlaki, and falafels. After the entree, you can try a desert including baklava, rice pudding, or baklava ice cream.

📍7951 Othello Ave., Ste. 104, inside the Kearny Mesa Shopping Center
