TapRoom Beer Co. is expanding its footprint in Pacific Beach. The North Park-based brewery recently opened The Collective, a new tasting room designed to be a late night lounge where there’s plenty of fun on tap.

The new spot moved into the former house of Barrel Republic — just feet from the brand’s SD TapRoom restaurant. The Collective shared with SDtoday that it doesn’t serve food at the moment, but that could change.

The space aims to be a chill and relaxed destination with 20+ beers on tap from TapRoom Beer Co., wine, and cocktails. The lounge also features games and a large-screen TV, and it will be able to host events like open-mic nights or viewing parties.
