The Farmers Insurance Open is back at Torrey Pines Golf Course.

Torrey Pines Golf Course is about to take the global spotlight: The 2024 Farmers Insurance Open swings into the coastal course this Wednesday, Jan. 24-Saturday, Jan. 27.

The prestigious PGA Tour competition — now in its 57th year at Torrey — features world-class players vying for a $9 million grand prize.

The PGA Tour tourney is as much about mingling as it is about golf.

This year’s player field includes San Diego native and seven-time PGA Tour winner Xander Schauffele, plus other top-notch golf pros like Max Homa (last year’s Farmers Insurance Open champ), Justin Thomas, Luke List, Jason Day, and Hideki Matsuyama.

Tickets start at $80. Of course, locals know the spectator experiences vary — VIP and mingling opportunities are always on par at this big, annual event.

Tee off times:

  • Wednesday, Jan. 24 + Thursday, Jan. 25 — 8:50 a.m.
  • Friday, Jan. 26 + Saturday, Jan. 27 (final round) — 9:15 a.m.

Play ends around 4 or 5 p.m.; it’ll be broadcast on the GOLF Channel and/or CBS.
