Come next week, San Diego will be the lacrosse capital of the world.
That’s because our city is hosting the 2023 World Lacrosse Men’s Championship — Wednesday, June 21-Saturday, July 1 — featuring 30 teams and 100+ games.
The tournament will be played across three venues — Snapdragon Stadium, Torero Stadium, and SDSU Sports Deck — each accessible via MTS’ Trolley lines. Teams include USA, France, Ireland, Japan, Mexico, and the Philippines, to name a few.
Single-game tickets are available, and you might want to hit up these highlights at Snapdragon Stadium, starting at $38:
- Opening Day | Wednesday, June 21 | 5:30 p.m. | This includes the Opening Ceremony, the USA vs. Canada match, and a halftime performance by Steve Aoki.
- Semifinal Games 1 and 2 | Thursday, June 29 | 5 + 8 p.m.
- Bronze and Gold Medal Matches | Saturday, July 1 | 1 + 4 p.m.
