San Diego Beer Week isn’t until November but in the meantime, the San Diego Brewers Guild (SDBG) has another celebration on tap — SD Beer Weekend, set for Friday, June 9-Sunday, June 11.

The second annual event will raise a glass to the 180+ craft brewing facilities that make the “Capital of Craft” go ‘round.

Participating breweries like Eppig Brewing in Vista, The Original 40 Brewing Company in North Park, and Chula Vista Brewery will serve craft beer deals in limited-edition, commemorative pint glasses, with a portion of proceeds supporting SDBG.

While those sudsy specials will be announced later, the SDBG did share an exclusive first look with SDtoday at the pint glass artwork created by local designer Tyler Cristobal.

The colorful art highlights local “surf to sand” culture and features the skyline, palm trees, the waterfront, a skateboard, a whale, and San Diego sunshine. We’ll toast to our lifestyle anytime.
