The San Diego Humane Society’s Project Wildlife team released rehabilitated raccoons at the Los Peñasquitos Preserve, and shared this video of the critters’ excitement for International Raccoon Appreciation Day.

The Project Wildlife program is the primary resource for wild animal rehabilitation and conservation in San Diego, with more than 13,000 injured + sick wild animals cared for annually. Since last year, the wildlife specialists have rehabilitated 288 raccoons.
