Torrey Pines Golf Course is about to get global attention as the Farmers Insurance Open 2023 swings into the coastal course Wednesday, Jan. 25-Saturday, Jan. 28.

The prestigious PGA Tour competition will feature the pros taking on the North and South courses, vying for first place. Tickets are available starting at $65 — depending on the type of spectator experience you’d like — since locals know the mingling here is on par, too.

Meanwhile, a little birdie told us this year’s roster includes big names like Farmers Insurance Open 2019 winner Justin Rose, Justin Thomas, and Murrieta, California, native Rickie Fowler.

Jon Rahm, Collin Morikawa, and Hideki Matsuyama have also committed, as has San Diego native and Olympic gold medalist Xander Schauffele — though he is recovering from a nagging back injury that could change the course of things.

Luke List won the whole thing last year — so we’ll see who takes home the coveted Torrey Pine trophy and $8.7 million in prize money.
