Get ready to pop off, because Nat Diego 2023 is returning for its fifth year, and tickets are still available.

Nat Diego told SDtoday it anticipates ~45 winemakers will be at this natural wine festival, including local makers. If you’re new to natural wine, the handmade process revolves around using sustainably-farmed materials free of chemicals and additives.

The festival starts with an Opening Night party on Friday, July 7, 7-10 p.m., at The Rose Wine Bar and Secret Sister in South Park.

On Saturday, July 8, 1-5 p.m., the Grand Tasting will be hosted at Bread and Salt in Barrio Logan. Here, attendees can sample natural wines and learn about their creation processes. That evening there will be a free closing ceremony at Little Thief in North Park.

And, you can feel good about drinking this wine — the festival benefits local nonprofit MAKE Projects.
