Hello, June. This month brings the start of summer and we’ve got no time for June Gloom. Our calendars are packed with seasonal traditions and local fun.

Rock ‘n’ Roll Running Series

This rockin’ run returns to San Diego on Saturday, June 3 + Sunday, June 4, and will bring entertainment by the mile. Online registration is closed, but sign-ups are still available at the Health & Fitness Expo tomorrow and Saturday.

Live music

It’s time for summer music, and this month, serious superstars will perform at San Diego’s biggest venues.

Food + drink

We’re ready to dig in to the tastes of summer, starting with unlimited beer samples from 70+ brands at San Diego Beer Festival on Saturday, June 10, 12-4 p.m., at NTC Park in Liberty Station.

On Tuesday, June 20 + Wednesday, June 21, 4-8 p.m., head to Taste of Little Italy for a self-guided tour of the flavorful neighborhood.

San Diego County Fair

The Del Mar tradition returns with a “Get Out There” theme and a calendar packed with entertainment. The fun begins on Wednesday, June 7, and is open daily through Tuesday, July 4 — except Mondays and Tuesdays in June.

Pride

June is Pride Month. Although the San Diego Pride Festival happens in July, other parts of the county celebrate in June, including Oceanside’s annual Pride By the Beach this Saturday, June 3, 12-6 p.m.

Ramona will host its second annual Pride event featuring a walk and community picnic on Saturday, June 10, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
