Have you heard who’s playing in San Diego this year? There’s so much live music coming to town, and while we can’t cover it all, we’ve rounded up a list of 23 concerts we’re amped to see — let the music play.

February

  • Ziggy Marley | Friday, Feb. 3 + Saturday, Feb. 4 | 8 p.m. | The Sound | The reggae legend will be the first performer to headline the brand new concert venue at Del Mar Fairgrounds.
  • GloRilla | Thursday, Feb. 9 | 7:30 p.m. | House of Blues | The rising rapper performs on her “Anyways, Life’s Great Tour.”
  • Air Supply | Friday, Feb. 10 | 8 p.m. | Harrah’s Resort | This rock group is “All Out of Love,” and soon, this show will be all out of tickets.
  • Steve Lacy | Saturday, Feb. 18 | 8 p.m. | The Observatory | Waiting too long to get tickets to the “Give You the World Tour,” that’s a bad habit.

March

  • Maggie Rogers | Thursday, March 2 | 7 p.m. | The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park | The genre-bending artist brings “The Feral Joy Tour” to the open-air venue.
  • Eagles | Friday, March 3 | 8 p.m. | Pechanga Arena | The “Hotel California Tour 2023” comes to San Diego — what a lovely place.
  • Regina Spektor | Wednesday, March 8 | 8 p.m. | The Magnolia | The singer and pianist plays the El Cajon stage.
  • SZA | Monday, March 13 | 8 p.m. | Viejas Arena | You’ll love this show by the “I Hate U” singer.
  • Jason Mraz | Saturday, March 18 | 8 p.m. | The Sound | The local singer performs with his Superband and special guest Gregory Page.
  • Ringo Starr & His All Starr Band | Sunday, May 28 + Wednesday, May 31 | 8 p.m. | Humphreys Concerts By The Bay | The former Beatle plays with a different band — tickets go on sale Friday, Jan. 20, at 10 a.m.

April

  • Dawes | Thursday, April 27 + Friday, April 28 | 8 or 9:30 p.m. | Belly Up | The folk rock group comes to Solana Beach.

  • Jimmy Buffet | Saturday, May 6 | 7 p.m. | Snapdragon Stadium | The “Margaritaville” singer and the Coral Reefer Band play their rescheduled show with local guest Jason Mraz.
  • Red Hot Chili Peppers | Friday, May 12 | 6:30 p.m. | Snapdragon Stadium | The SoCal rock band performs with The Mars Volta and Thundercat.
  • Lizzo | Thursday, May 25 | 8 p.m. | Viejas Arena | It’s about damn time this songstress comes to San Diego, and she’s bringing guests Latto and DJ Sophia Eris.
  • Tove Lo | Thursday, May 25 | 8 p.m. | The experimental pop darling performs her “Dirt Femme Tour.”
  • Matchbox Twenty | Tuesday, May 30 | 7:30 p.m. | Cal Coast Credit Union Open Air Theatre | Fourth try’s a charm? This show was postponed from 2020 to 2021, then to 2022, before the rockers had to push it to this date.

June

  • Janet Jackson | Sunday, June 11 | 8 p.m. | North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre | Become part of the rhythm nation during the legendary singer’s “Together Again” tour.
  • blink-182 | Monday, June 19 + Tuesday, June 20 | 7:30 p.m. | Pechanga Arena | The Poway-founded band performs “All the Small Things” at home with guests Turnstile.

July

  • Morgan Wallen | Friday, July 14 + Saturday, July 15 | 4 p.m. | Petco Park | The country music star will have sand in his boots when he comes to San Diego with guests HARDY, Ernest, and Bailey Zimmerman.
  • Paramore | Sunday, July 16 | 7 p.m. | Viejas Arena | If you miss this show with guests Foals and The Linda L, you’ll be in misery (business).

August

  • Rod Stewart | Saturday, Aug. 5 | 7:30 p.m. | North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre | The British rocker performs with special guest Cheap Trick.

  • Aly & AJ | Thursday, Sept. 7 | 7:30 p.m. | Humphreys Concerts By The Bay | The sisters and “Potential Breakup Song” singers take the stage.
