Much like our past guides to North Park + Carmel Valley, this ongoing series will take you on an exploration of the communities that make San Diego feel like home. So, what do we define as a “neighborhood”?
While we love suburbs like Coronado + Carlsbad, these guides will focus on small communities within our city (think: Ocean Beach and Kensington). These small but mighty parts of San Diego typically feature restaurants, parks, living spaces, festivals, and more, and span one to a handful of blocks.
